M31 the Andromeda Galaxy
Captured September 13th 2009 
M31 The Andromeda Galaxy is roughly 2.9 million Light years away.
This Galaxy is enormous and nothing short of breath taking when you consider its shear mass. Easily visible with the naked eye under dark skies its hard to image we could be on a collision course with this nearby neighbor.
Beautiful dust lanes are revealed all the way to the center core.


Scope:Televue NP101
Mount:Losmandy G11 equip-DSIPro1 and PHD software.
CCD:QHY8
Exposures:8*480sec=RGB 2hr 56 minutes Total 

Software:Nebulosity 2 for image capture
Each image was calibrated using Flats and bias stacked using Deep Sky Stacker
PixInsight stretching,color balance
Photoshop CS2 final post processing
