The Veil Nebula is the result of a supernova explosion that took place over 5000 years ago.
Captured August 26th 2009 in Charlotte, Vermont under dark skies.
This object classified as a Diffuse Nebula gently offers a region surrounded by several hot stars, complimented by wispy detail and strains of filaments providing a weaving type pattern.
